The Wisconsin School Counselor Association, Inc. (WSCA) supports school counselors' efforts to promote academic, personal/social and career development in all students. Through the development, implementation, and evaluation of a Comprehensive School Counseling Program, school counselor help students achieve success in schools and prepare students to address the challenges of life, to lead fulfilling lives, and to address these issues as responsible members of society. WSCA provides professional development (specifically through the annual conference in Stevens Point), advocates for school counselors with legislators, parents, school boards, and other educational professionals, and promotes research on school counseling programs in service to over 1300 school counselors in Wisconsin.
